Message from the Worshipful Master W.Bro Mikey Abban

I live in Gosport with my wife and three children, and spend my professional life as a commercial property surveyor in the public sector. My other interests include all things sports related, especially football.

On the 11^{th of} February 2015, I was initiated into Freemasonry in Alwarestoch Lodge No. 7805, located in Gosport. Forward seven years, and I am now in the Chair of Worshipful Master and have the privilege of serving my Lodge in that capacity for the coming year.

I am hugely proud and honoured that the Brethren of Alwarestoch Lodge have entrusted me to preside over them as Master of their Lodge.

My mission is to make sure we are a thriving lodge by growing our membership and representing the Lodge whenever I can, including visits to other Lodges.

I pray that I will be a worthy Master of Alwarestoch Lodge and that the Lodge will continue its charitable giving, which has always been in our DNA.

I enjoy my time as a Mason, especially the camaraderie during our festive boards, ladies’ nights and other charitable events.

We are now looking with confidence to the future by welcoming new members into Freemasonry, and ensuring existing Lodge members are happy, fulfilled and enjoy themselves whilst making a positive difference through their charitable giving.
